If your experience on a day to day basis seems closely akin to hell on earth, know that the devil and his cohorts are taking aim. The good news is that hell on earth is like heaven compared to the real hell.

There are many different types of pain depending on the nature of the injury that is causing the pain. Some pains throb, others are piercing, and others are a dull ache. When the pain is in a critical organ of the body, it may be a cause for concern. Pain also exists in the realm of the spirit. For example, one can experience a type of spiritual pain if separated from a loved one or a cherished friend. When the situs of the spiritual pain is a critical area of the body, it sometimes can cause injury that manifests in the physical realm. One can easily eliminate spiritual pain by asking God for healing, and by surrendering to him our body, mind, and soul.
Grace is one of the most misunderstood concepts in Christian theology. There is a perception that grace embues anyone who desires grace with a license to engage in any and every act they choose, confident that they have absolute immunity from the spiritual consequences. If each person were to act in accordance with this belief, mayhem would exist in our world in a manner that far exceeds the current chaos.
Grace is an understanding of the weaknesses of human nature, and a desire to enable individuals to move beyond their mistakes. That is how God perceives grace. It is pardon for an accidental violation of spiritual law. It is not a blanket immunity that extends in perpetuity to all acts. In between God's extension of grace, there should be an open acknowledgement of the sin, a request for God's forgiveness, and a genuine, heart felt desire to repent (1 John 1:5-10; 2; 2 Corinthians 7:8-11). Of course, this process of acknowledgement, repentance, and forgiveness of sin applies to those individuals who have come to an acknowledgement of God, who understand the need to adhere to spiritual principles, and who have received the indwelling Holy Spirit of God. Without the indwelling Holy Spirit, any attempt to live righteously can become an exercise in futility (Romans 7:14-25). For this reason, many religious leaders as well as Christians have determined that God's standard is impossible to attain. The missing link is the indwelling Holy Spirit who alone can enable and empower them to be perfect as their heavenly Father is perfect (Matthew 5:48). When we begin to understand the devastation that is wrought on our bodies, our souls, and our spirits each time we violate spiritual law, we also begin to understand the context within which God's grace exists. We begin to see him as perhaps the car repairman who, through his shed blood, dutifully fixes every dent and every scratch and every malfunction so that we once again can be made new. We also begin to experience an overwhelming sense of gratitude. The concept of cheap grace to which many ascribe would visit an unimaginable cruelty on the cross of Christ. He was crucified because of deliberate sin and violation of spiritual law for which the penalty is spiritual death, and everyone who comes to Christ has as opportunity to have washed away the penalty of death for each deliberate sin they have ever committed. Every new deliberate sin committed after their enlightenment and acceptance of the indwelling Holy Spirit would require that he be crucified again and again (Hebrews 6:1-8). When you understand that there is one sacrifice for deliberate sin, you are propelled toward God's perfection. When the clock strikes midnight, most people are asleep. But in the realm of the spirit, when the ether's clock strikes midnight, everyone should be wide awake, spiritually. Being awake spiritually means being cognizant of the times in which we live and of their prophetic significance.
There are no prophecies written in the Torah or in the Christian Bible that had their origin in the minds of men. Every prophecy of Scripture originated with the Holy Spirit of God. God's prophecies are given for the purpose of teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training us in righteousness. They enable us to understand how, when and why God's purposes will manifest, and what we need to do in order to remain faithful. They also empower us to the extent that they speak of God's future glory. One of the most powerful prophecies in Scripture is written in the book of Daniel. It speaks of a devastation coming to the earth during the reign of the final earthly kingdom. The leader of that kingdom, a man of intrigue who rises to power almost imperceptibly, is given authority and power to do things to the earth and to its people that previously were unimaginable. His reign began in September 2013 and he is scheduled to reign for 3-1/2 years. Leaders of countries throughout the world continue to give him their authority and power, fearing that if they fail to do so, they would be at risk physically, professionally or politically. When the darkness is such that it becomes overwhelming, those who recognize the prophetic signs of the times know that it is midnight. They know that it is time to prepare their hearts and minds. They also know that it is soon after midnight that the final trumpet, the seventh trumpet, will sound (see Revelation 11:15-19). The seventh trumpet signals the commencement of Christ's millennial reign on earth. It will be the time when righteousness and adherence to spiritual law becomes commonplace. Throughout the world, people of every nation and tongue are preparing for a global shift in consciousness. They know the signs of the times. Jews and Muslims have spent billions of dollars making extravagant preparations to welcome their coming Messiah. They too know the signs of the times. Even atheists know that life as they know it is about to change. But just as was prophesied in Luke 14:15-24, many "Christians" are on the verge of being excluded from the banquet in the kingdom of God. The Scriptures tell us that God is light but not many people understand the concept. We think of light as energy, and therefore we assume that God is a force or energy field. To say that God is light is equivalent to saying that a truck is metal. When we think of God we should be thinking of his essence.
God is light because when darkness comes near him, it immediately is transformed. Darkness cannot transform light, but light always can transform darkness. Humans also have the capacity to transform darkness because they were created in the likeness of God, and they too are light. But they have a choice of whether or not they will embrace the darkness or transform it. If a human being chooses to embrace the darkness, they become like the darkness. They lose their ability to transform it. Knowing that one is light enables a person to persevere through any form of darkness, confident that eventually the darkness will succumb to the light. The darkness in our world also eventually will succumb to the light. It is only a matter of time before we each recognize that all that is required is a decision to be who we are at our core, to be the light of the world, and the darkness in our world will dissipate. Some people have been questioning the need to be sealed with the Holy Spirit of God. They continue to believe the falsehood that being born to "Christian" parents who had them dedicated to God as an infant, or baptized by sprinkling with water renders them immune to hell. Being well aware of their sinful condition, they take solace in misapplied verses of Scripture which speak of God's grace. God's grace is available only to the penitent, not to those who continue in deliberate sin. The concept of grace embraces and encapsulates a discontinuation of the offending action.
The best methodology for explaining the necessity of being sealed with the Holy Spirit is to work the analysis backward from the time of the rapture. The rapture will be similar to the process by which water evaporates and rises through the atmosphere to form a cloud. It leaves behind every impurity and rises in its purest form. Similarly, water that exists as steam also is in its purest form. Our bodies consist of approximately 75% water that also must relinquish every impurity in order for it to be transformed and capable of rising through the atmosphere during the rapture. Unlike ordinary water that readily and easily relinquishes its impurities, human beings have the capacity to hold onto sin and impurity. We therefore must learn willing surrender and submission to spiritual truth. As we surrender our spiritual and physical impurities and become cleansed, we risk becoming recontaminated unless we are sealed and protected. The only available human sealant is the indwelling Holy Spirit of God whom God has sent to us to teach, heal, cleanse and sanctify us to prepare us for entry into his coming kingdom on earth. When we accept him into our hearts, the evidence of his arrival is light in the solar plexus region of the body, because God is light. Unless hindered, he instantly begins the process of sanctification and does not stop until the light in the solar plexus is emblazoned in every cell of the body and we become full of the Holy Spirit of God. Thanks and praise are the most powerful methods by which heaven is moved to action. They are the keys that open heaven's gates, and bring forth God's provision.
This Blog post is not as much about religion and spirituality, as it is about souls that have not yet found their purpose for being on the earth. Souls need to be engaged and have purpose for their existence. When they have failed to discover and live their purpose, they experience a period of regression. A soul that is experiencing regression wanders aimlessly through life, unaware of who they are and why they are here. They lose their passion for life and become emotionally barren.
Finding one's purpose involves the simple process of asking the soul, "Why are you here?" An enlightened soul that has the indwelling Holy Spirit of God always will know why they are on the earth. They also will know of any deadlines for fulfilling their purpose. Ask your soul why you are here on the earth and whether there are deadlines for fulfilling your purpose. If you have children, ask their souls the same questions. A soul that fails to fulfill its purpose cannot be part of the kingdom of God. The sun of righteousness is the aura that pours forth from a heart that is full of the Holy Spirit of God. A heart that is full of the Holy Spirit of God is a heart that is full of love. The aura's white color signifies purity in mind, in thought, as well as in action. It is referred to as a sun because when it sets, it is seen as a brilliant plethora of sparkling diamonds radiating from the core of the solar plexus.
The sun of righteousness is referred to in Scriptures, such as in Malachi 4:2 which states that it "will rise with healing in its wings." The word "wings" is an allegorical reference to the hands. When our righteousness is more than a hypocritical show of devotion, when it surpasses the righteousness of the New Testament Pharisees, when it emanates from a cleansed heart, we will know because from that heart will flow God's healing balm. Genuine righteousness produces a capacity to appropriate God's healing powers for yourself, and for others. Until your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees, you are not yet ready to serve in the kingdom of God (Matthew 5:20; Revelation 20:6). There seems to be a new and growing trend to forgo the expense associated with ordinary burial of bodies in lieu of cremation. Aside from the fact that men and women who are sealed with the Holy Spirit of God should look to God and to the Holy Spirit for their healing, the cremation trend is disturbing. First, cremation causes the bodily remains to become mixed with that of others placed in the same crematorium. That "mixture" is disastrous for a sealed man or woman of God who expects to be raptured.
A person who is possessed by, or has in him or her, powerful demons and evil spirits generally has very low physical and spiritual energy. The mixture of his or her remains with that of a sealed person could dramatically reduce the energy level of the sealed person's remains. When that effect is multipled by one hundred or more, depending on the number of such persons who were placed in the same crematorium, the result is an exponential reduction in energy levels. Light and energy levels are critical to one's ability to be raptured or resurrected. Second, when a person's remains are mixed with that of a third party, the person and the third party become as though they had been intimate partners. Their sexual history is intertwined and, in the case of cremation, it is as though they had been extremely promiscuous. Sexual promiscuity blackens the soul because the soul absorbs the spiritual condition of everyone subsequent to the fourth partner. Its ability to resist contamination decreases with each new partner and becomes non-existent after the fourth. This is because the soul has four quadrants and the contamination from each partner affects one quadrant at a time. Each quadrant has one opportunity to resist contamination. Third, ordinarily, the soul and the spirit are separated at death. The soul remains with the body, while the spirit returns or attempts to return to God. If the spirit is unable to enter heaven, it remains on the earth and eventually is pulled into hell. In the case of cremation, the soul and the spirit remain locked if the cremation is done within two and one half to three days after death. The soul is therefore pulled into hell with the spirit if the spirit's destination is hell. If the spirit's destination is heaven, the soul and the spirit remain in the first heaven, regardless of which level of heaven the spirit, by itself, would have entered. It therefore undermines the person's pursuit of righteousness. The bottomline recommendation is that cremation is not advised for anyone, and especially not for someone who has been sealed with the Holy Spirit of God. In legal parlance, a warranty is a promise that the person or entity giving the warranty will ensure that certain facts or circumstances are true, or that a product or service operates as was intended. A company will replace its product if it fails to perform as per the terms of the warranty. In the context of Christian discipleship, Jesus is proof that the Holy Spirit functions as God intended.
With the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus raised the dead, healed the sick, provided income for himself and his disciples before anyone was able or willing to assist them, and resurrected from the dead. We have absolute proof that God's promises are real. Our only requirement is to use the Holy Spirit as God intended, and to manifest his powers. If any area of our life is lacking in joy and fulfillment, it is because we have not fully manifested the power of the Holy Spirit in that area. The Holy Spirit is ready, willing and able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine. Being enslaved is one of the worst experiences one can have, unless you are aware of your enslavement and enjoy being enslaved. One can enjoy being enslaved if led to believe that the enslavement is freedom, and that freedom is enslavement. Freedom can feel as enslavement if you are unaware that you need to be taught how to operate in the spiritual realm. Efforts to guide you seem to be an impingement on your freedom. However, when you evaluate the circumstances, you realize that your perception is warped.
Enslavement can feel as freedom because you believe, alternatively, that when you think, say or do anything you wish, with no regard for the consequences, you are free. However, when you make choices and decisions without knowledge of the consequences, and those consequences are known by a third party whose agenda is being fulfilled by your choices and decisions, you are a slave to that third party. You assume that you are working toward one result and instead, a different result happens. Know with certainty that the devil enslaves you; God sets you free. Some of the reasons that we oppose certain people and certain institutions is that we abhor change. We prefer a status quo existence. We like the feeling of control that exists when we have even a faint notion of what will happen tomorrow. It is for this reason that God's rule is fiercely opposed by some who are committed to what they believe is a self-controlled existence.
But the God of creation is a God of freedom and choices. It is he who insists that we not be enslaved, and that we be set free to worship in spirit and in truth. It also is he who insists that when the sun sets, we have the freedom to sleep or not to sleep. When God is in control of our lives, only then can we possibly enjoy true freedom. We have the freedom to think, say and do anything our heart desires. The difference is that for everything we think, say and do, we always will be fully informed of every consequence. This is the only context within which true freedom can exist. The haphazard existence full of sad mistakes and unintended consequences is not the life God desires that we have. Only in him can we aspire to the life our hearts desire. Let God be praised and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. Ten days of every month should be devoted to wishing someone well. It would mean that every third day you must find someone who needs your good wishes. If we each thought of someone other than ourselves for at least one third of every month and every year, we would transform our global community.
In the last 43 years in the United States, there have been almost 60 million abortions performed. That is 60 million lives lost. Although the human soul enters the body at birth with the first breath, the human spirit enters the body at conception. It is the human spirit that makes us human, irrespective of the shape, size or formation of the body. A tiny fetus is just as human, despite its incomplete body, as an 8-month old fetus. Human means created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). It is for this reason that I now oppose abortion practices. I would not necessarily change all of the laws pertaining to abortion, but I would want to ensure that every woman who seeks an abortion knows the whole truth, and can make a fully informed decision.
But as writer Laura Elliot noted in a recent blog post titled, It's Time to Expand Our Definition of Pro-Life, if the sum and substance of the pro-life agenda is fighting for the life of the unborn, we have fallen short. She notes that pro-life should include a concern that encompasses all of life from conception to natural death. If we claim to be pro-life, we should have just as much concern for the downtrodden, the poor, the refugee, the immigrant, the "illegal alien", the thief, the disabled, the ones who look, think or act differently, and even for our enemies. She further notes that when we begin to treat everyone, regardless of race, creed or religion in a manner that honors the image of Christ, our image bearer (Colossians 1:15), perhaps the world will take a second look at the pro-life movement. God works in a mysterious way, his wonders to perform. There are many people who still are deeply troubled and even fearful about the results of the last general election. We each assumed that we knew with certainty who was most equipped to be the next president of the United States. The day after the election, liberal entities opened wide their doors to comfort those who mourned the impending loss of freedoms they had come to cherish.
But God works in mysterious ways. The truth is that we had come to a point at which we were becoming intolerant of each other and of opposing viewpoints. We assumed that there was no need to reach across the aisle to share our perspective in a manner that can be understood and appreciated, even if not agreed with. We were beginning to associate in factions that thought like us, refusing to hear or consider any differences that might "tarnish" our views. God eschews factions and divisions, especially among those who claim to be his children. He desires that we live in community with one another. Living in community compels adherence to a higher standard. It is a standard at which all needs are met, all views are considered, and all differences are mitigated. It also is a standard at which all enemies are forgiven. When we each aspire to that standard, we will find that we indeed have things in common with one another and hold views similar to one another. We also will find that we no longer think that the world will end if we are not in control. When someone transitions from life to death, their soul remains in the body and the spirit leaves. The spirit has only two options, either to remain in the body so that the person remains alive, or to leave. If the spirit leaves the body, its destination generally is heaven or hell, but it also can remain in the earth realm. Those marked and destined for heaven are immediately transported to heaven accompanied by angelic guides. Being on the earth for longer than twenty-four hours after the transition is a sign that the spirit is unable to gain access to heaven.
There are several reasons why a spirit may be unable to gain access to heaven. If the spirit is a child under the age of twelve, they are instantly transported to heaven by angelic guides. However, an older child who has not engaged in immorality may be unable to gain access because their solar plexus has become contaminated as a result of infiltration by evil spirits. The solar plexus can easily be contaminated if the child lives in an area with significant amounts of demonic activity. If the spirit is an adult, they may be unable to gain access to heaven for one major reason--sin. Sin of every kind contaminates and weakens the spirit, so it remains in the earth and waits to be rescued. A rescue by heaven happens only when the person has the indwelling Holy Spirit which marks them as belonging to God. Thus, during the seven-day period after they transition, someone would have to pray for them to receive the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit enters them, a light will appear, and they instantly will be transported to the third heaven. If they are not marked with the indwelling Holy Spirit, hell can take possession of their spirit. In the past, hell sought to take instant possession of an unmarked spirit. Now, the Lord God Almighty has determined that hell must wait until the expiration of seven days prior to doing so. In the interim period, other than giving the person the indwelling Holy Spirit, if someone prays for them, it is likely that their spirit might be sufficiently strengthened to enable them to enter the first heaven, especially if the person has not committed sexual immorality. All saints day which is celebrated by many Christians is a day on which every person should examine their lives and cleanse their spirits through repentance and forgiveness in order to strengthen it. The Jewish Yom Kippur, a day of atonement has a similar purpose. This once a year cleansing is in addition to the daily examination and spiritual cleansing that should take place in every person. When all has been said and done, spiritual fitness is equally as important as physical fitness. When someone dies, if they are eligible for entrance into heaven, their transition into heaven is immediate and seamless. If they are not eligible for entrance into heaven, their spirit remains on the earth until hell claims it. In the past, hell eagerly snatched the spirits of the deceased, sometimes within hours of their passing. That can no longer happen. The Lord God Almighty has determined that if they are not eligible to be accepted into heaven, their spirit will have a seven-day grace period on the earth before hell can claim them.
If you have a friend or relative who has just passed, you have God's authority to contact them through the spirit realm within the seven-day grace period to determine whether or not they are safely in heaven. Ask them where they are and what they see. If they are sitting in front of an open door to hell, it means that hell will soon be their destination. From hell's perspective, if they do not have the mark of the indwelling Holy Spirit of God, the finders can be keepers. If you care about them, you have seven days within which to give them the indwelling Holy Spirit of God. That act of goodwill will mark them as people belonging to God, and will instantly catapult them into the third heaven, out of the reach of hell and Satan. Cooking meals is an everyday occurrence for most people. However, if you don't have a kitchen, you need to purchase your meals. If, for any reason, you have neither a kitchen nor income, you must rely on other food sources. Two common methods are either visiting a soup kitchen or food pantry that serves food at no cost, or begging for alms from strangers and passersby. A few days ago, I was sitting in a mall writing a Blog post when I saw something I had never before seen in New York City. Two Black college age employees from two different establishments closed for the night and exited the stores armed with leftover goodies. One had a couple boxes of gourmet cupcakes that he gave to a security guard, the other had a small shopping bag with what appeared to be a meal or two that he gave to a woman who was cleaning the mall. The recipients had jobs and incomes, but probably had close to a minimum-wage existence. They were obviously grateful for the generosity of the two young employees who might easily have kept the food for themselves.
In New York City, there probably is sufficient leftover foods to feed a small army. Some companies donate to non-profit organizations that deliver food to the elderly and shut-ins. A few others donate to homeless shelters. But the vast majority of food from restaurants, supermarkets, multi-purpose pharmacies, breakfast and lunch buffets, and coffee shops get thrown into the garbage without a second thought. Imagine what would happen if the price of food products was slashed in half in the half hour before it expires or is discarded. Imagine also the difference it would make if employees were encouraged to distribute leftover foods to the needy at the close of business. If everyone did a little good every day, the burden of feeding the hungry would be lifted off the backs of the few remaining soup kitchens and food pantries. Eden's cry is that God's people will wake up from their deep slumber, recognize that they are in the midst of a fierce battle, and acknowledge that they have no weapons that are remotely capable of being utilized other than the sword of the Holy Spirit of God. Amen.
Professionally, email signatures are almost as important as the body of the email. One wants the recipient of the email to have all of one's contact information. However, saved email signatures have become not only the most dangerous threat to privacy, but also, a monumental risk to corporate and national security interests. Email signatures can easily be infused with viruses and malware so as to facilitate spying activities. Because the signature is an unchanging aspect of every communication, it can be tracked and thereby used to provide access to every email to which it is appended.
In many countries, including the United States, having an email signature is routine among employees. Virtually every major corporation or business entity, law firms, hospitals and medical offices, colleges and universities, government offices, as well as personal communications all utilize email signatures. The computer coding for facilitating the creation of an email signature is relatively uniform. Given that uniformity, it is likely that at least one country has established a tracking system that captures, catalogues and stores every email to which a signature is appended. The potential for collecting an immense treasure trove of global medical, national security, and confidential corporate information is jolting. In recent years, both China and the United States have devoted billions of dollars to constructing massive electronic storage systems. Apparently the storage systems in the United States are almost all empty. However, we probably should look into what is being stored in China's storage systems. When you know that the container you are using to hold information has three hundred leaks through which that information is escaping, it is futile and disingenuous to devote time and resources to plugging and repairing only three of the leaks. We should eschew the piecemeal approach to problem solving and begin to recognize that we must develop and implement uniform global methodologies for resolving some of these issues. The easy global solution to the email debacle is to ensure that all email signatures have been fully and securely encrypted and sealed. Service providers should no longer be used for sending and receiving emails unless they immediately notify their users of this potential security breach, and enable secure sealing and encryption of email signatures, separate and apart from any additional encryption of the entire email. When election time comes every four years and citizens of the United States prepare to elect the next president, most people choose the person whom they believe will give them the best life. Invariably, they are disappointed and cannot wait until the next election so they can make yet another attempt to gain a better life and a better future. We have been going through this never-ending cycle for decades, each time holding out hope for a better tomorrow, seemingly oblivious to the fact that this process of choosing elected leadership has failed miserably.
The events playing out in the news in this election cycle has presumably taught us that we are electing imperfect human beings who will think, speak and act imperfectly throughout their time in office. The idea that any one person can provide us with the nirvana of our dreams is wishful thinking. As disciples of Jesus, the paramount concern should be electing someone who not only has the indwelling Holy Spirit of God, but also, is filled with the Spirit. They must be committed to seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit in every situation, however insignificant it might seem. They also must be willing to subject their will and purposes to the will and purposes of the Holy Spirit. If, despite the gloomy global socio-political conditions, a candidate chooses either to become a Manchurian candidate or to forge blindly through the chaos, we should expect continuing chaos and continuing deterioration. This election cycle, let's elect Eden by choosing only candidates who have the indwelling Holy Spirit. Let's also ensure that they are fully submissive to the infallible wisdom and guidance of the Supreme Holy Spirit of God. The seminal cause of unrighteousness is a lack of deep understanding of the causes of conditions in our global community. Many priests and pastors are themselves confused as to why they preach about the need for righteousness. They preach what they have been taught, and neglect to communicate the underlying reasons. Thus, biblical precepts have been reduced to a list of seemingly impossible rules and regulations that many believe have no pertinence to modern living.
In instances where the rules have no traction, some preachers resort to scare tactics in an attempt to compel compliance. That methodology works for some of the people, but has the effect of alienating the vast majority of potential congregants. Walking in the spirit of righteousness is a simple matter of taking control of one's mind and thoughts. Just as one determines the direction of a car by manoeuvering the steering wheel, so the mind must be controlled and directed toward one's desired outcomes. When we begin to understand the connection between our minds and the world in which we live, the pursuit of righteousness will become a singular passion. When you decide that change is essential to growth and to sustainability, the next most critical issue is ensuring that you are moving upward. Vines grow parallel to the ground or to the surface on which they exist, but oak trees tower upward and forge a new path as they reach toward the sunlight. There are many different directions in which we can grow, but the most significant direction that is critical to ensuring long-term sustainability is upward growth, toward the light.
On March 25, 2016 I wrote a Blog post titled, When The Ether Cries. It noted that the ether had been crying for 101 days, and that the cries would continue for another 408 days. Today marks 325 days of crying, and the ether will cry for another 184 days. There is nothing worse than a crying baby, other than a baby whose cries have been forcibly silenced. Its needs can never be met if its cries cannot be heard. Similarly, there is nothing worse than a crying ether, other than an ether whose cries have been forcibly silenced. When the ether's cries are silenced, humanity continues with the status quo. They cannot hear, nor can they respond. The cries escalate until they reach a crescendo, and by then, it is too late to solve the problem.
Crying ethers are God's sign to us that we have reached the edge of a societal cliff. We can either stop short and make a left, a right or a 180 degree turn, or we can continue over the cliff. When the ether's cries cannot be heard, we never have an opportunity to stop short. Instead, we continue over the cliff. There are many ways of silencing an ether's cries. One can deafen the populace so that they never hear the ether cry. One can artificially reduce the volume of the cries relative to other sounds. And one also can create such a distraction that the ether's cries seem minor by comparison. When all three methodologies are employed at the same time, only the Holy Spirit of God, who always hears, can save us from certain disaster. When the ether cries, it generally is because of pain and anguish being experienced by God's people. They either are being heavily persecuted, or they are experiencing pain and anguish as a result of internal conflict, famine, or natural disasters. It also is a sign that they have become helpless and are losing hope, even while they may be refusing God's attempts to guide them and to provide for their needs. The ether cries not only to alert God to their plight, but also to awaken them to the fact that it is time to take a turn in another direction. God has heard the ether's current cries. Whether or not you are able to hear them, he wants you to know that it is time to turn around and move in a different direction. |
