In legal parlance, a warranty is a promise that the person or entity giving the warranty will ensure that certain facts or circumstances are true, or that a product or service operates as was intended. A company will replace its product if it fails to perform as per the terms of the warranty. In the context of Christian discipleship, Jesus is proof that the Holy Spirit functions as God intended.
With the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus raised the dead, healed the sick, provided income for himself and his disciples before anyone was able or willing to assist them, and resurrected from the dead. We have absolute proof that God's promises are real. Our only requirement is to use the Holy Spirit as God intended, and to manifest his powers. If any area of our life is lacking in joy and fulfillment, it is because we have not fully manifested the power of the Holy Spirit in that area. The Holy Spirit is ready, willing and able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine.
