My new book, ANCHORING YOUR FAITH: THE NEW BAPTISM, is now available in the Apple iTunes iBookstore (see link below). It was inspired and dictated by the Holy Spirit of God. If you have ever questioned why there are many different Christian denominations, each preaching from a seemingly different Gospel, then this book is mandatory reading. You will understand that God is one and has only one Gospel message.
Much has happened in the 2000 years since Jesus died on Calvary. Core doctrines, such as the need to be sealed with the Holy Spirit, have fallen victim to novel theologies and impractical conveniences. God's only solution is to point us once again to the goal post that at this time is far above our heads. It is within reach, but only if we are willing to stand up and stretch out our hands to God. Many will not be willing to do so. But many others will stand up, set aside their empty rituals and deadly doctrines, and return to God. If you are among the latter group, welcome to the family of God. If you are a religious leader and are among the former group, God says to you peaceably, "Let my people go." Let them go so that they can go up to the mountain of the Lord and worship him in spirit and in truth. Let them go so that they can begin to recognize who they are in Christ. Let them go so that they can know that if God is for them, who can be against them? That is the cry of the Holy Spirit of God. Many millions of prayers are offered up to God each day. Some of the prayers reach him, but the vast majority do not, at least not directly. The God I serve wants the world to know to whom they are praying so that there is no deception and no misunderstanding.
When a prayer is offered up to God, one of three things can happen. Either it is intercepted by Satan, it is answered directly by God, or it is answered indirectly by God. In the same way that a direct telephone number can link you to a person on the other side of the globe, one must have a methodology for connecting to God. His direct line is through the Holy Spirit of God. The vast majority of prayers to God, including prayers that seek good and positive things, are intercepted by Satan because the person praying has failed to first establish a genuine connection to God. When a prayer is intercepted by Satan, anything is possible, including him answering the prayer, if it accords with his purposes to do so. His ultimate purpose always is to kill, steal and destroy. If you are praying that evil circumstances should be visited upon someone else, you also should know that those prayers never reach God. They always are intercepted by Satan. Direct prayers to God are those offered through the Holy Spirit of God. Prayers to God are supposed to be a methodology for confidently appropriating the powers within you to accomplish any desire of your heart that is in accordance with God's will. Our human spirit is relatively powerless against the forces of darkness. There is no genuine overcoming, Godly power inside of you if you do not have God's indwelling Holy Spirit. With the indwelling Holy Spirit, he becomes your source of power to teach, guide and protect you as you learn to take authority over the forces of darkness and evil that inhabit our world. The Holy Spirit provides a direct and instant connection to God that can never be intercepted or corrupted. He is the Holy Spirit of God and none other can answer to that name. Focus on the right side of your heart, listen confidently to his response in your heart, and you instantly will be connected to the power of God. The mind can have a corrupting influence on communications with the Holy Spirit because of a lack of faith. Thus, it is preferable that you communicate only in the language of the Spirit instead of your native language. The language of the Spirit consists of sounds uttered from the heart while the mind is focused on a specific intent, such as healing or spiritual cleansing or resources for living. As an alternative, you can direct your spirit to communicate with the Holy Spirit in a foreign language that you do not understand such as Dutch, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Tagalog or Croatian. The intent held in the mind will direct the intent you wish to accomplish through the prayer. Most importantly, when you pray through the Holy Spirit of God, your heart must be filled with love, and the results sought to be accomplished must be a manifestation of the power of love. God also answers prayers indirectly if the person offering the prayer does not have the indwelling Holy Spirit. He becomes aware that a prayer is being offered, senses the commitment to him in the person's spirit, eavesdrops on the prayer, then directs his Holy Spirit to answer the prayer as appropriate. If someone does not have the indwelling Holy Spirit, this is generally the methodology by which their prayers are answered and many people have had their prayers answered in this manner. However, it is not God's ideal because the person never comes to a knowledge of the truth that they can have God's power and authority operating on the inside of them at every moment of every day. God wants to establish his throne in your heart so that you will know that the kingdom of heaven is within you. Hearing voices in one's head no longer is deemed a sign of mental instability. In fact, it never should have been characterized in that manner because individuals who hear these voices merely have a stronger connection with, and can hear and speak into the spiritual realm. Of course, not every voice intends good. One must draw a distinction between a voice one hears in the head and a voice that emanates from the heart or solar plexus region of the body.
Some individuals contend that nothing real exists in the spiritual realm. Thus, when a person reveals that they are hearing voices, or speaking with persons from the spiritual realm, the medical establishment quickly assigns them a psychiatric label such as schizophrenic or bipolar or manic, and considers them to be mentally unstable. Then begins a process of gradually removing them from mainstream society. This process is the devil's methodology for silencing individuals who were born with or developed a strong connection to the spiritual realm, and who might possibly have heard the voice of God and been able to confirm his existence. Individuals who work for the benefit of Satan also have a strong spiritual awareness. However, their willingness to work with him insulates them from the labels and the often violent consequences associated with spiritual awareness. The spiritual realm is very real. Everyone who is human has a spirit that exists in (and communicates through) the spiritual realm. Birds and animals communicate through the spiritual realm. When we pray, and especially when we pray in the spirit, we are communicating with the living God via his ether in the spiritual realm. Now that the ether is more acknowledged, the devil's new strategy has been to flood it with an incessant stream of deceptions. The goal is to render God's people weary and distrustful of the ether, and therefore of the existence of God and the legitimacy of their prayers to him. Protecting and strengthening your faith in and your relationship with God is more critical now than at any other time. Doing so requires that you consider two very important facts. First, one cannot hear the voice of God with one's ears. Only physical voices associated with physical bodies on the earth are heard with the physical ears. Any voice from the spiritual realm that you hear with your ears is likely a person pretending to be God, or seeking to harass you and to derail your faith in God. Second, almost all of God's communications with his creation is done through his Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit speaks primarily through sensory impressions from the heart. Further, every legitimate communication with or prayer to God is answered, but you will not hear his response unless you listen to the voice of his Holy Spirit in your heart or solar plexus. If you have the indwelling Holy Spirit, practice speaking to God in your heart when you pray, and listening for his response through the "ears" of your heart. Your experience of God will profoundly change. Hope is a word that is used quite often in the political arena. Everyone believes that their agenda is an agenda of hope. But hope comes from God. If your agenda is not authorized by God, inspired by God, or vetted by God, then it is not an agenda of hope.
The question we must ask when we speak of hope is, "What does hope desire of me." Hope always requires a commitment from us. We can never have merely an expectation of hope without being surrendered to the idea of giving of ourselves whatever hope desires. So when we speak of hope, we also must acknowledge the concomitant requirement--that we give hope. Hope always exists as a twin, and he or she who hopes also must give hope. Whether or not we understand or wish to acknowledge it, all of humanity exists in holes of different sizes and shapes. One person's "hole" may be a sick child, and for another it may be a pending divorce, illness, financial difficulty, or spiritual emptiness. Every hole is different and manifests differently. Some holes have a false foundation that leads the occupant to believe that his hole is relatively shallow and that he can effortlessly climb out of it at any time. So he remains comfortable with the status quo and relatively unconcerned. But at any moment, the false foundation will collapse to reveal that the hole is far deeper than the occupant imagined. Others know that their hole is deep and that it is impossible to climb out of it without assistance. So they turn to the Lord their God for assistance. God wants his creation to know that when they hear the cry, call or moan of someone in need, they are hearing what God hears. God is allowing them to hear what he hears because he knows that they have the power, the capacity, and/or the desire to answer that cry, call or moan. God knows that he can answer only through the hearts of others. When their heart responds, it is as though God responded. If their heart is unmoved, it is as though God is cold and unresponsive to our needs. God answers only through the hearts of others. God wants his creation to have his heart, and to be perfect as he is perfect. He wants them to do what they would want done to and for them. That is what hope desires. The heart is the most important part of the body. If the heart does not pump blood, every bodily function will cease. The brain also is important, but even after the brain has been deemed incapable of thought and speech, the heart will continue to function. Because the heart is critical to survival, it is subject to major attacks physically and spiritually. Cleansing the heart is the single most important endeavor for any disciple of Jesus. It begins with a decision to make Jesus the only ruler of the solar plexus region which is just above the stomach.
The Scriptures reference the existence not only of evil spirits, but also of spiritual entities referred to as rulers, authorities and principalities (Ephesians 6:12). Biblically, a ruler is a spiritual entity that can take control over entire sections of the body or over the entire body. He can place a covering over the area to designate it as his territory. Evil spirits, such as the spirit of greed, directly entice us into sin. Rulers do not directly lead us into sin. However, they upset our spiritual and emotional balance and may result in sinful activity. Our enemy the devil has countless rulers of every kind that occupy various parts of the body. Some rulers generate spiritual action and others cause inaction or a failure to respond. Rulers that lead to inaction include laziness and lack of compassion. Examples of rulers used by the devil to generate spiritual action are fear and anxiety. There are at least nine principal action-generating rulers that can occupy the heart and prevent a person from genuinely surrendering to God. They include fear and anxiety mentioned above, obsessiveness, compulsions to engage in specific repetitive behaviors such as hand washing, argumentativeness, envy, passivity or shyness, ingratitude, and addictive personalities. These rulers must all be thoroughly evicted from the heart in order to truly make Jesus ruler and Lord. The act of cleansing the heart is not unlike ordinary confession and repentance. It involves facing squarely the specific ruler, demanding that he exit the heart region, and closing the door to reentry. The first step is to identify the rulers that govern your heart. Pray about each one specifically and individually. Make a list of all the actions these leaders cause you to engage in. Commit to replacing the actions with different actions that are in keeping with your decision to make Jesus Lord of your life. On a rainy December day in New York City, one might be left wondering why there is no snow, and why the weather seems somewhat confused. We refer to it as global warming, but God calls it Messianic Warming. His view is that the weather and the earth are warming to the fact that the Messiah's return is near. Deuteronomy 28:24 states that snow is a curse. Thus, when the Messiah is on the earth during his prophesied millennial reign, there should be an absence of snow. Instead, we'll have rain, sunshine, more rain, and more sunshine.
Although I am not an avid skier, I know that avid skiers will not be thrilled at the idea of not having snow. Snow-making machines are often readied as early as September. Skiers should know that snow is indeed a curse. Rain is absorbed into successive layers of earth until it reaches the core. The earth's core is extremely hot. The Holy Spirit reveals that it requires ten gallons of water to cool each square foot of the earth's core. When snow falls over an extended period, the earth's surface remains frozen, the core overheats, and the subsequent result is volcanic eruptions. Personally, I would choose the absence of snow if it meant avoiding a volcanic eruption. If we continue to try to manipulate weather patterns so that parts of the earth's surface remain frozen for months, we might find that the hot price of skiing is a rapid increase in volcanic activity. The word "Messiah" is known in several different religions. Muslims and Jews both have a belief that a Messiah will come to deliver or redeem them. Within Christianity, the Messiah is the first born spiritual son of God. In an ordinary conception, not only do the parents' reproductive cells combine to produce the new person, but also, the spirit of the father combines with the spirit of the mother to produce a new spirit for the child. Jesus became the only begotten son of God when the spirit of God infused his human body that manifested through the power of the Holy Spirit. The spirit of God powered his humanity.
When God's spirit paid the spiritual penalty for sin by being crucified and going into hell on our behalf, hell had no power to hold his spirit. He thus paid the penalty for sin, and by his resurrection, recaptured the gift of eternal life through the power of the Holy Spirit. He, God, was our Messiah, savior, deliverer and kinsman redeemer. He came the first time in precisely the manner in which he was prophesied to come, and before he left, he made clear that he will return. So, once again, we are in waiting mode. For what are we waiting and what should we be doing in the interim? At his first appearance, our Messiah diagnosed the problem, paid the penalties, and set forth the initial plan of remediation. At his second appearance, he will expect that we have implemented the initial plan of remediation, using all of the resources he provided. We should be in position to commence the final stretch of the remediation plan which is scheduled to occupy us for the next one thousand years. It will take one thousand years before we arrive at the point of perfection at which we truly can have authority over, and be uninfluenced by, the evil forces that exist on the earth. If he returns and discovers that we have failed to implement his initial plan of remediation, we cannot possibly expect to move to the next level. It would be equivalent to demanding to be trained as an actuarial expert when you have no solid mathematical foundation. No one can be raptured who has not received the indwelling Holy Spirit, and been baptized by full immersion in water with a genuine desire to repent of all sin. Nor can anyone be raptured who has not been sealed by the Holy Spirit of God for the same reason that one seals a container of food to prevent or reduce contamination. One also must be trained in the basic abc's of how to repent of specific sins and thereby cleanse the body, soul and spirit. Only the purest form of water can evaporate, and only the purest bodies will be raptured . . . . PERMISSION TO REPRINT IS GRANTED FOR THIS BLOG POST ONLY. When the Spirit of God moves, he moves with passion and with power. That's the way in which he moved yesterday, the day before, and the day before that. He inspired me to write the book titled The Holy Spirit of God, a fully inspired work that was published on September 29, 2015. Yesterday, he inspired me to issue the Press Release headlined, God's Woman of Revelation 12. Today, and every day, he will inspire me to do something else, something more. What will he inspire you to do today? Will you hear him? Will you heed his call? Will you hear him tomorrow? And will you heed that call? Your destiny will be determined by whether you hear his call and obey.
