Almost everyone is thinking of the New Year and especially New Year's Eve: where to celebrate, how to celebrate, with whom to celebrate, and perhaps less importantly, their resolution for the New Year. For many reasons, this year should be about commitments, not resolutions. It should be about commitments to our principles and ideals, to our Constitution and its First Amendment, to our families, to ourselves, and most importantly, to our country and its citizens. It also should be about commitments to the world in which we live, and to the infants being born every minute. The goal should be a commitment to the highest possible principles for our world, for our country, and for our lives. When we commit to a higher standard, we are significantly less likely to compromise when circumstances become difficult. Compromise occurs most frequently when we exist at the level of status quo because when challenged, we take the easy route. The easy route requires us to relinquish a piece of who we are and of the ideals we affirm.
What is it that you desire for our world in 2016? Do you desire peace? A greater acknowledgement of the God of all creation? A commitment to honesty and integrity? A pluralistic world in which all are acknowledged and respected, yet inspired to a unifying greatness? God's desire is for us to have all of the above. We should not have to pick and choose among the best that the world has to offer. We should aspire to have the best of everything. Eventually, we will indeed have the best of everything though perhaps not in 2016. Perhaps it will take a little more than twelve months for us to arrive at a better place. Most importantly, irrespective of what we encounter in the coming year, we will need to commit to a refusal to remain or become enslaved either in body, mind or spirit. May 2016 be the year in which you become a freed spirit!

We like to speak of freedom in the context of rights and interests. However, true freedom comes with a stupendous capacity for change and genuine transformation. Very few individuals, if any, have achieved that level of freedom. They may have become billionaires, yet struggled with illnesses, divorces and other issues. Or they may have been happily married for decades, yet barely survived financially. Or perhaps they were spiritual gurus, yet suffered from incapacitating migraine headaches or other chronic conditions for their entire lives. We rarely see, hear or know of the dark side of their lives. We see only the glitter, and we aspire to reach the same heights at which they had arrived.
Genuine freedom, however, is all-encompassing. It touches every area of your life. No part is left that is not subject to instant transformation at the mere thought of it. That is the freedom God offers, but our feeble minds can barely imagine it, let alone accept and embrace it. We are either single-minded in our fierce pursuit of wealth, fame, fitness or other goals, or we resign ourselves to a moderately conscious existence. God wants you to know that if you are confined to a hospital bed, or are joined to an oxygen machine, you are not free. If there is any genuine desire of your heart that you have come to believe is unreachable, you are not free. The freedom that God gives comes with a price--surrender--but in that surrender is found a freedom that the world has never before seen or known. God has a different view of tithing than is seen in the Old Testament when the Israelites were required to give ten percent of their income to the priests. God desires to have generosity flow through our veins. He wants us to give generously from the heart. Giving from the heart is very different from giving ten percent from the head. When we give from the head, we limit not only the giving but also the spiritual consequences of the gift. When we give from the heart, there is no limit to either the giving or the return on the gift. God's abundant flow overtakes us.
In regard to giving, God's stated ideal for those with sufficient income to make these divisions is as follows: 30% to keep for ourselves and to spend as we wish, 30% to care for God's people who have the indwelling Holy Spirit and need assistance of any kind (food, clothing, shelter), 30% in reserve to save for the coming Kingdom of God and to invest only as God directs, and 10% to distribute to ministers of the Gospel. Ministers of the Gospel are any individuals (whether or not they are members of your church), who minister the Gospel to you in a manner that is life transforming, that teaches you about the need to have the indwelling Holy Spirit, that enables you to receive the Holy Spirit, that seals you with the Holy Spirit of God and teaches you how to be cleansed and healed spiritually, physically and emotionally. If the minister to whom you tithe is not doing all of these things, then he or she is ministering a different Gospel from the Gospel of truth delivered by our Lord and Savior Jesus of Nazareth. Whenever we come to a point in our history that requires a left or a right turn, our natural inclination is to move forward in the same direction. We don't like having to make turns because it slows us down and requires a degree of maneuvering. But there is no goal in life that can be achieved without having to make left, right or one hundred and eighty degree turns. Life requires us to be resilient and to do whatever needs to be done in order to achieve our stated goals. If your goal is to enter the Kingdom of God, then it is time for change; change that will be difficult but not impossible. The time has come to make decisions about what you believe and why. It is no longer acceptable to exist on a spiritual treadmill in which you engage in various mindless tasks each week such as praying or attending church services or synagogue. You must know what you believe and why. You must challenge the status quo and demand answers to your questions. And most importantly, you must examine the Scriptures every day to see if what you are being taught is truth. If it is not, then you have an obligation to seek and pursue truth because only the truth can set you free. Freedom is having an ability to be, do and say who you are without fear of repercussions. When you have freedom, you have choice. When you have freedom, you have incentives, not rewards. And when you have freedom, you do what you want to do when you want to do it. Freedom is not fearful, it is not angry, it is not critical or judgmental. But freedom laughs at those who claim to be free, yet have no power to change their circumstances. True freedom is being willing to suffer on behalf of others, not because you have to, but because you need to. True freedom is being willing to say, "I was blind, but now I see."
Rumor has it that individuals have been taking extended vacations into hell. We now know that the location of hell is beneath the Dead Sea, so many of the individuals who have been paying homage to Satan are being invited to visit. Satan wants everyone to know that he has nothing to hide now that his locale has been unearthed (see The Sons Of Zion Versus The Sons Of Greece: The Antichrist Revealed by Rebekah Isaac, chapter 8, pg. 66-68).
Rumor also has it that many in the United States federal and state governments, as well as in foreign governments have been and are being invited into hell, and some have accepted the invitation. One such individual reportedly constructed a vacation plan that commenced on January 5, 2015. He separated his spirit from his body, as is common protocol when someone takes a trip into hell because human bodies cannot enter hell. He left his body in a locked room in his residence. However, he clearly is very knowledgeable about the occult because instead of entering hell with his human spirit, as does every other prospective visitor, he outsmarted Satan. He separated his mind and voice from his spirit, left his spirit in a separate locked closet, attached his mind and voice to the stolen spirit of a poor soul who had no idea that he was about to take a trip into hell, and confidently entered hell for his planned tour. He gave his spirit specific instructions to keep watch over his body. Unfortunately, the spirit no longer had an attached mind so it was operating on the level of someone who is mentally incapacitated. Eventually, when it was time to exit hell, Satan gave his customary spiel that he could make his visitor a new body. Reportedly, everyone who enters hell discovers that they are not allowed to return to their original body, and their spirit no longer sees, hears or can speak through the ether. Thus, Satan makes them a body that is almost identical in appearance to their original body, puts into the new body a demonic spirit that can see, hear and speak through the ether, and loans them their original spirit for a few weeks for the purpose of training the demonic spirit on how to operate in the person's personal, recreational and professional or business world. He then kills the original spirit. When Satan discovered that he had been outsmarted and that only his visitor's mind and voice were in hell, he was understandably irate. He commanded that the body in the locked room should be etherized. Apparently the spirit in the locked closet became aware of what was happening to the body, and at the instruction of the floating mind, reentered the body in order to protect it. So, both the body and the spirit were etherized together. If the body had been etherized separately, it would have been traumatized by the long separation from the spirit. Because they were etherized together, the body should still be in good condition. Etherization occurs when the body is quickly heated to a very high temperature and disappears as mist into the ether. The body is 70% water and literally evaporates. While the bones will become ash in dry heat, they melt if brought beyond the boiling point with radiant heat. When hell's visitor managed to escape intact, he was unable to locate his body and proceeded to operate without a physical body and with his mind superimposed on the stolen spirit. He was capable of making the spirit appear to be real in the same way that spirits, including God, his angels, and even Satan can appear before someone and seem to have a physical reality. On television, however, his interviews had a ghostly and/or ghastly effect and his body very noticeably was deficient in physical reality. Eventually, it seems that Satan was cajoled into making him an "unreal" physical body to house his mind and the stolen spirit. The victim from whom the spirit was stolen is apparently experiencing mild amnesia and has difficulty remembering details about his life. So we now have a very high official with a man-made body (a certain mole on his face is noticeably missing and/or caricatured), a mind superimposed on another spirit (which makes for a multiple personality disorder), and what in effect is a personnel vacancy that no one knows is vacant and/or knows how to fill. When even the ether is confused as to who is who and which mind belongs to which body, we know that we have a very serious problem. Solution? Call on the Lord God Almighty and beg his forgiveness!
