The idea of having to illuminate the realm of the spirit seems contrary to what was promised when the Scriptures stated that the God of heaven sees all and knows all. If he sees all, why do we need to illuminate things? God sees all and knows all only to the extent that we want him to see and know. If we desire to keep our hearts covered, he will never see, and will never know what is in our heart until judgment day arrives. Nor will we have an opportunity to have our hearts exposed so that we can be transformed.
The role of the Holy Spirit is that of transformation, and in order for him to complete his role, we must be willing to expose our hearts to him. We expose our hearts when we openly and unabashedly tell him what we're thinking and how we're feeling in any given situation. We cannot become transformed if we are intent on living behind an iron curtain fueled by greed, lust, envy, hate and immorality. Nor can we hope to enter into eternal life. We can have life weighted down by sin, or we can live freely and unencumbered.

When you wish to see in a darkened room, you need an illuminator, such as an electric lamp or a battery powered flashlight. An electric lamp is ideal because its source of power is stable and does not expire, as is the case with a battery powered flashlight. However, when you wish to see into a heart and soul, electric devices and battery powered devices are not appropriate because they cannot illuminate in the realm of the spirit, nor can they reveal spiritual truth.
In order to illuminate the spirit realm, one needs to have the indwelling Holy Spirit Of God, the power to reveal truth, the desire to hear and know only what is true, the commission to speak only truth, and the courage to fulfill your commission. One also needs to have the desire to see beauty illuminated, the renegade spirit of a David against Goliath or a Jesus of Nazareth, the desire to please God first and foremost, and the gift of persuasion. Truth always demands everything of you. The idea that we have to wait for the Sabbath to arrive is somewhat disturbing. Most of us assumed that the Sabbath would begin immediately after the rapture, or at least within a short period thereafter. But it has been several weeks since the rapture began on March 10, 2017, several days since the doors in the spirit realm have closed, including the door to Eden, and we still have not seen any signs of the Sabbath. We know that the Sabbath bride welcomed him on Friday night, June 30, 2017, the last day of June, and that she did so after doing Mincha/Maariv on two occasions in order to become fully aligned with him.
We also know that she returned to the synagogue on Sunday morning to do a third Mincha/Maariv, but the security guard thought that she seemed too well-dressed for a Sunday Mincha, and did not permit her to enter. Of course, this is at a conservative synagogue, but they pride themselves on being open and welcoming to all, even those who tend to dress a little better on Sunday. Now that Mincha/Maariv is completed, and the Sabbath groom has entered, there is not much else to do but wait. The one thousand years of Jesus' millennial reign are supposed to be one thousand years of a designated Sabbath rest for the earth. It will be a time when peace eventually will reign, when the joy will rise to greet each new morning, and the laws of the universe will take root and grow, bearing fruit for generations to come. The Sabbath will begin when the door to the heart closes to prevent sin's encroachment, and Jesus is revealed to the subjects of his kingdom, and the enemy is put to sleep for a thousand years.
When I first read Rebekah's Blog post titled Winning The Relay, I assumed that I already had won. I had lived for more than thirty years on this earth, had lived a sinless life, died on Calvary, resurrected from the dead, ascended into heaven, and have been sitting on the right hand of the Lord God Almighty for almost two thousand years. As far as I was concerned, I am a winner, and I won by a large gap. Yet, after reading the Blog, I realized that not only had I not turned in my baton, but also, it never even occurred to me that I should be asking the Holy Spirit for advice on every move I make, on every direction I take, and on every planned adventure. I thought to myself, "If I am perfect, why do I need advice; shouldn't I be able to rely on the perfection that is in me?"
The Holy Spirit is not about perfection, nor is he about winning, or having won the relay. His role is that of an air hostess who takes care of all of your needs while you are on the journey to eternity. If you have not yet handed in your baton, it means that you have not yet boarded the "airplane" and are not likely to see eternity for another one thousand years. If you have handed in your baton, yet have not asked for a single piece of advice, you are likely to remain in a state of need for the next one thousand years. Ask and receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened. If you're like me, you are still holding on to your baton. Do as I did, and turn it in. Most importantly, seek the wisdom and guidance of God's Holy Spirit. The Lord God Almighty still reigns. The Lord God Jesus, the Nazarene Entering the kingdom of God is very much like a relay race. For thousands of years, men and women have sought the kingdom of God. They have cried out to him from every corner of the globe, in different languages, from different faiths, from no faith, and from every faith. They have determined to reach the heights of wisdom, to achieve the highest accolades, to bestow on one another the coat of arms, to reach the Muslim man's highest level of spirituality, to achieve the Jewish man's greatest connection to El Shaddai, to enter into the Christian's concept of eternity. All of these people of these different faiths, in reality, have been seeking one thing--A RETURN TO EDEN. They have sought in their way, for their purposes, and with their methodologies. Many have fallen along the way, but some have now arrived at the entrance to the kingdom of God. They are the ones who caught the baton and kept moving on, toward the goal, toward their final destination. They are the ones who would never take "no" for an answer, who knew that if they kept on moving, they would reach the goal. The key to winning the relay is to now pass the baton to the Holy Spirit Of God. When he has your baton firmly in hand, you know you have won the relay. Do what he tells you to do, then take your place in the kingdom of God.
