WASTING TIME

If you know that something needs to be done, your best option is to get it done, as quickly as possible. Whenever we have the option of doing something, or not doing it, and we choose to not do it, the ether changes such that the thing that should have been done loses some of its power to effect change. There are many things that should have been done before the kingdom of God was established. They include genuine repentance, genuine change, and reliance on the indwelling Holy Spirit Of God. Because of the absence of these key ingredients, we are at a point at which genuine change is slow to come.

When everything that should have been done has been done, the dramatic changes that the Lord knew could happen may take longer than was planned. We, in effect, would be wasting time fixing what should not have been broken. The Lord God Almighty hopes that the kingdom doors will soon be sealed, despite his trepidation at what may be the outcome of the sealing. It may mean that many who could have been chosen will no longer be chosen. It also may mean that others who became diligent at the last moments will take their place.

If you know that you have been chosen to serve in the millennial kingdom, this does not mean that you can now relax and return to your former way of life. On the contrary, it means that for the next one thousand years and more, you will always be aiming for higher ground. You will always be seeking novel attractions. You will never plateau.
