TURTLES

Turtles have a very hard, trauma-resistant shell. You can literally pound on the shell with a hammer and nothing will happen. At the slightest sign of danger, they retreat into their shells and they remain stationary, sometimes for days at a time. Human beings can sometimes act like turtles. At the slightest sign of danger, they retreat, and they remain emotionally motionless, sometimes for days, weeks, and months.

If you see any indication that you might be acting or operating as a turtle, you have an obligation to fix the problem and escape from the shell instantly. Emotional pain is not always an easy problem to fix. However, when you are operating under the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit Of God, and you have instructions from God as to what you should do, it is impossible for those instructions to result in emotional pain. In every instance, if you do exactly what the indwelling Holy Spirit Of God tells you to do, you always will see the glory of God. You always will know that God has fulfilled his promise to you.
