TITHING TO GOD

If you have set up a separate bank account in which to deliver your tithes to God, you should never put the account into your name. Instead, put it into the name of the Lord God Almighty. Whether you do so spiritually or physically is irrelevant, as long as you know that the account no longer belongs to you.

If your heart is intertwined with the funds in the account, you will never be able to do with it what the Lord God Almighty requires you to do. Nor will you ever be able to surrender the entire account to him. You will know that any commands you receive regarding the tithe account is coming from the Lord God Almighty if, when you look at the account in your imagination, you see a raised cross (+) above it. If you do not see the cross, you should not release any funds from the account.

If you have the tithe account for the sole purpose of avoiding the charge of having stolen from God, then you should know that your refusing to do what he asks you to do with it makes you just as guilty as if you had never tithed. The Lord God Almighty is a God of laws. The Lord God Almighty is a God of truth.
