SUSTAINABILITY

I just completed a two-day conference in which the words sustainable or sustainability were used at least a few hundred times during the course of the two days. It was a good conference, if only because it recognized the need for us to make sustainable decisions. My only concern is that we still are reticent about acknowledging that we need God's intervention. God will intervene and offer his counsel only if and when we are willing to publicly acknowledge him. If we are afraid to even mention the name Jesus, we cannot expect that he will meet us in the closet. Whoever is ashamed of Jesus, he also will be ashamed of them.
