When the saints of God determine that they would like to see eternity, there is no power on earth that can prevent them from doing so. There is no power that can cause them to become insane, to lose their conscious state, or to submit to death. Nor is there any power that can cause them to betray their God. They gradually become invincible. They also become one with God, and with the Holy Spirit of God. When eternity's gates open, they will have become eternal.
When one determines that eternity is not worth pursuing, it usually is a sign that the memory of Eden has been stolen from you. Everyone with a memory of Eden craves eternity. Everyone who craves eternity will do everything possible to ensure that they are living in accordance with the biblical commands. Everyone who lives in accordance with the biblical commands will enter eternity's gates, and everyone who enters eternity's gates will themselves have become gods.
If, for any reason, you are one of those whose memory of Eden has been lost, there are three things you can do in order to retrieve it. First, you can read the Genesis account of creation, and the years immediately subsequent. Second, you can read the biblical book of Revelation. Third, you can read the biblical book of Acts.
If after reading these three books of the Bible you still have no desire to see eternity, then you are beyond the point of no return. You have become one with Satan. You can never again be one with God, and you can never enter eternal life. If your desire has been rekindled after reading the three books, there is hope. You have been restored to sanity. You now can begin to apply the biblical commands to your life, in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen.
