We are the ones who must plant the seeds that will bring to fruition the purposes of God. If we never plant seeds, or if the seeds are corrupted, the harvest will be different from what is expected. If we plant acorns, we should expect a harvest of acorns, not of tomatoes or peaches. Similarly, we cannot expect to remedy the problems in our world if we are planting the same seeds of anger, selfish-ambition, hatred, jealousy, greed and envy that brought us this present harvest of wars, plagues, disasters, epidemics, and financial collapses. We are the ones who must choose the seeds that will bring to fruition the purposes of God.
