I have never had the opportunity to peel potatoes, not only because of who I am, but also because I don’t particularly like potatoes. I would prefer a much more interesting side dish if I ever had the opportunity to choose. I do know, however, that peeling potatoes is a task that leaves the peeler in a state of peaceful connection with the planet.
Potatoes have certain nutrients that have a calming effect on the mind. If you tend to be agitated, or have a hyper personality, you should try having a boiled or a baked potato a couple of times a week. Your mood is likely to change dramatically in a matter of a few weeks.
