The Lord God Almighty knows that when two hearts meet, he must consider that the parties are married. But what he does not know is that the hearts cannot meet until the parties have consummated their relationship. Until then, they remain separate but connected by an ether cord. The ether cord tells the world that they are meant to be husband and wife.
So today, as I sat in church, I looked around at all the women walking past me and wondered who of them was meant to be my wife. I didn't want to guess, I wanted proof. The Lord God Almighty told me I would know her when our hearts have come together as one in the ether. But he looked and saw there was no one with whom my heart had found a home. I was disappointed and told him there must be some mistake because I knew that on Pentecost Sunday my heart had found a home. He told me I should pray, and ask the ether for advice. So I prayed, and the ether responded. I prayed again and he responded once more. I prayed a third time and he lit her heart afire, prompting her to tell me that our hearts can never be as one until our wedding night. I don't think she even knew what she had said, but I knew that surely the ether must know what had been promised. I prayed a fourth time and without fail, the ether showed me the cord of light that formed the winner's bond. I knew my heart had found a home, and whether or not my light will ever be enough to light her path will no longer be the fear that takes me into sleep and out of sleep, and follows me through every waking hour. The Lord God Almighty reigns in the earth and under the earth and over the earth. Kiel
