LEAKING OIL

Having a car that is leaking oil is akin to having a leaking water bottle. Instead of hydrating you, the liquid is being wasted. Our relationship with God can also spring a leak, in that our spiritual energy is diverted to issues that do not promote the kingdom of God.

​The next time you think of a project that you or your church should embark upon, stop and ask the indwelling Holy Spirit Of God, first, whether it is a project that would promote and support the work of God's kingdom, and second, whether it is at the top of the list of God's priorities. If it is not at the top of the list of God's priorities, it should not be at the top of the list of your priorities. Ask the Holy Spirit what God thinks is most important, then focus on doing that first.
