Laughter is supposed to be a powerful antidote to worry, illness and many other issues. Many have claimed they were cured of illness by daily watching or listening to comedy shows. It is difficult to have a genuine laugh in the midst of negative circumstances. However, even a fake laugh can cause hormones to surge through the body and wipe out negative emotions.
If you engage in a daily routine of physical exercise, add to it five minutes of deep silent laughter by smiling broadly and exercising your laughing mechanism. The focus on laughing will generate multiple positive spiritual benefits. This exercise is direct from the Holy Spirit. I just tried it briefly and am confident that the practice will begin to erase negative emotions and the hormones that accompany them.
