KEEPING ALIGNED

Whenever we choose to align with God, he is ready to align with us. Alignment means that we want to do only as he would do, and to be only as he would be. It means that we want what he wants, and that we seek what he seeks. It means that we believe what he believes, and we discount what he discounts. When we align with him, we become one with him in mind, in thought, and in deed.

Misalignment occurs when we spiritually, physically, or emotionally disconnect from him. Misalignment is similar to having an apple tree in which the topmost branches bear a different fruit. Such a problem might cause every fruit on the tree to become suspect, and deemed inedible.

If any aspect of your life is not functioning, the cause is a possible misalignment with God that may have been caused by any one of at least fifteen different factors. Factors that can cause a misalignment with God include prescription drugs, cameras, videotaping, shock therapy, surgery of any kind, stroking an animal, consuming cheese products that contain colorants, acting in an off-color production, and eating genetically modified foods.
