Jesus was not just an ordinary prophet, he was a God. He was a God not only because he had the spirit of Elohim from birth until death, but also because he attained to the Godhead. One attains to the Godhead by becoming perfect as the Heavenly Father is perfect. Sinless perfection is near impossible to accomplish except with the help of the indwelling Holy Spirit of God. Only he knows the appearance of perfection and the path to its achievement. He was the spiritual guide for Jesus who, because he had the uncorrupted spirit of Elohim, instead of the Adamic spirit, had the opportunity to do what Adam could not do--remain sinless. He forged the path to perfection, and gave us the Holy Spirit as a spiritual guide. That he was a Nazarene is significant because those in Nazareth had more spiritual fortitude. They had very little of Adam's genetic corruption and therefore were less likely to betray their heritage. In contrast, Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus, was of the same lineage as King Saul who opposed David. Will you also betray . . . ?
