Hallelujah is a term used to denote celebration. When our world is in turmoil, it is difficult to understand why anyone would wish to use the term. But hallelujah is all we can say. It is a word that recognizes the power of God to intervene in even the most extreme cirumstances. It is a word that transcends earthly circumstances. In heaven, there always is room for one more hallelujah. When the church bells begin to toll, we will indeed have reason to sing hallelujah. I say this because that is what we read in another recent Blog, that the tolling of bells will announce the coming of the kingdom of God. God did not say this to me, however, I am willing to accept pieces of the spiritual puzzle from anyone.
We each have a piece of this spiritual puzzle and we each must be willing not only to share our piece of the puzzle, but also to accept pieces from others. Only as we do so will we achieve true oneness with one another, as well as with God. Let us begin to sing hallelujah in expectation of that oneness. The Scriptures promise that if we ask for anything in prayer and we believe that we have received it, it shall be ours. Sing hallelujah.
