GODLY FORGIVENESS

The Lord God Almighty repeatedly has stated that there is no forgiveness of sins, if you fail to forgive others for their sins against you. Nor is there forgiveness of sins if you interact with others in a manner that is unforgiving. For example, you cannot claim to have forgiven someone, yet refuse to talk to them. Nor can you say that they are forgiven, yet repeatedly discuss the problem.

Genuine forgiveness releases any and all negativity toward the person, refuses to discuss the problem ad nauseum, and begins to interact with the person as if nothing had happened. Genuine forgiveness is godly forgiveness.
