FRUITFULNESS

The Lord God Almighty stated in Genesis 1 that we should be fruitful and multiply. That command applies to everyone, whether you are single, married, young or advanced in age. The command to be fruitful and multiply has been applied only to the issue of procreation, however, the Lord God Almighty meant it to apply to much more than procreation. We can be fruitful and multiply any gift given to us by the Lord God Almighty.

For example, if you have the gift of understanding, you can multiply it so that others also gain understanding. If you have the gift of athleticism, you can multiply it by joining a team and expanding the gift so that others can enjoy the team sport. If you have an ability to sing, you can multiply that gift by sharing your singing with others or by joining a choir or performance. There is virtually no gift that the Lord gives to us that cannot be multiplied so that it expands in scope and impact. Multiplication should be a common desire among disciples of any age.

The Lord God Almighty desires to see multiplication at work in the life of every person in the kingdom of God. If you are motionless, you cannot possibly be in multiplication mode. If you are not focused on multiplication, ask the Lord God Almighty which gift he would like you to multiply for the benefit of his kingdom. Whichever gift he identifies, decide that you will grow it exponentially for the benefit of God's kingdom, and that you will never cease multiplying every gift given to you by God the Father in heaven.
