All the world speaks of discipleship, yet very few people are genuine disciples. A disciple is someone who has become so aligned with God that they have become almost indistinguishable in nature and character. They are kind, loving, generous, and self-controlled. They do only what brings joy to others and to the world. They would never betray a trust, and they would never seek their interests above the interests of another. When a time of need arises, they are willing to share with others. If anything or anyone seeks to harm someone, they will intervene. They have become indistinguishable in nature and character from God himself. Genuine disciples seek first the kingdom of God.
