Many people assume that Christmas is a pagan celebration that they should avoid at all costs if they want to be considered a true Christian. That is as far from the truth as one can get. The celebration not only is manifestly Christian, but also, it is based on the Book of Esther in the Old Testament of the Bible in which the people of God who were slated for destruction had the tables turned and instead, they became the destroyers, celebrating for several days the power of God.
The Christmas tree represents not only the pole on which the wicked Haman from the Book of Esther was impaled, but also, it should now bear the Messiah Star (not the star of David or any other star). It is because of the Messiah that God's people everywhere have a hope that is unending, unsurpassable, and eternal--a hope worth celebrating every December 25th for the next thousand years. The Lord God Almighty El Shaddai
