BAKING BREAD

If I ever thought I would have to cook for myself, the first thing that I would learn to do is bake bread. The process of kneading dough seems to be something that could prepare you for life. You have to be patient and methodical, folding each part into the center. The dough must be completely blended so that each part is as perfect as the center.

​The Lord God Almighty needs each of us to choose to become like dough—malleable, pliable, and completely surrendered to his will. If your heart is secure in his love, you will have no fear of being surrendered to his will. Nor will you need to assert your rights, because he already has asserted them. The Lord God Almighty is love.
