In Jewish religious folklore, every seven years is a year of renewal. In years of renewal, the land is at rest, the animals are at rest, and the people are at rest. When everything and everyone is at rest, God's ability to communicate is significantly increased. When he speaks, he is heard, and when he is heard, he is more likely to be obeyed. Jewish folklore also states that when there are seven consecutive years of renewal, the fiftieth is a year of Jubilee. Years of Jubilee are unique in that they are not only years during which everything and everyone is at rest, but also, they are years of celebration.
Rarely does the Jewish calendar coincide with the Roman calendar. However, in 2017 which coincides with the Jewish calendar year of 5777, both years end with a seven. They are also known to be a Jubilee year, a year of celebration.

Amnesty is a biblical principle that has been in effect for thousands of years. It was implemented by the Israelites when they sought to protect the dispersed tribes from the enemy. The tribes disobeyed God's commands and had fallen victim to the enemy. The intact tribes nonetheless decided to offer them amnesty and an opportunity to begin again. As we battle against the current forces of evil, including ISIS, if we genuinely understand who the real enemy is, we also will know that amnesty must be a significant part of any negotiations and peace accords.
When restoration is a promise from God, you can be certain that he will not merely restore you to the position you were in, he will bless and restore you far in excess of your losses. He will redeem and sanctify you so that the memory of the loss is far from you. When the Lord restores what was taken, he does it with the same principle of abundance with which he initially created. Abundance is a mandate for every act of God because in him there can be no lack or limitation.
