ALTERNATING SINS

When you see sin as something that everyone does, it becomes virtually impossible to arrive at a place of genuine repentance. Instead, you simply replace one sin with another. You move from apathy to unforgiveness, and from belligerence to anger. However, the Lord God Almighty expects us to obliterate every sin at its core.

He wants us to stamp it out the moment it appears, and to refuse to allow it to reappear. He wants every sin to have no more than one curtain call, and preferably, none. When you see sin, decide that your heart will never again encounter it. Decide that its first appearance will be its last. Know that the Holy Spirit will manifest your heart’s desire.
