AFRICANS

African men and women are some of the most hard working individuals on the planet. They never seem to need breaks, or a vacation, or time off for illness. They will work through the worst bout of pneumonia, and keep on working. When I last visited Africa, no one seemed to understand that they needed to take a break for lunch. They simply worked through lunch.

​I have always admired their work ethic, and I know that in the kingdom of God, we all need to have a mindset that we too will work through lunch, we too will strive for righteousness, even when the worst bout of pneumonia hits us. We too must decide that we can never take a vacation from the quest for peace, for hope, for righteousness. The Lord God Almighty is a God who never sleeps, a God who never rests from his desire to take us to eternity. He will never stop until eternity comes home.
