WHEN THE ENEMY IS YOU

Sometimes when we think that the enemy is more fierce than we imagined he would be, it is because we have assigned him a place of honor and prestige. We have decided that he should be feared, and that whatever he says must be obeyed instantly. We also have decided that we are not going to do anything to jeopardize our safety, and the safety of our family. 

The fact is that our family is not safe when we have chosen to align with the devil. In doing so, we will have chosen to make the devil our God whom we obey, while expecting the Lord God Almighty to give us his indwelling Holy Spirit and rapture us into his eternal kingdom. The devastation that would be wrought on members of the kingdom if some individuals in the kingdom continue to obey Satan is unthinkable. Instead of a kingdom of God, we would have a continuing devastation of the earth. The only possible means of achieving God's kingdom on earth is if every member of the kingdom is committed to doing only what God commands him or her to do.
