There are times when negative circumstances have become so entrenched that even your very best efforts fail to yield any results. These are the times when you might begin to question God, question whether you indeed heard his voice, and deliberate as to whether you should continue on the same path or change direction. When all else fails, two options always remain intact. If you did them before, do them again as a last resort, and they invariably will yield results.
First, pray from your heart in the language of the spirit--not from your brain and in your native language. You pray in the language of the spirit by focusing on your heart and speaking to God through your heart in the language of the spirit. This is the sound language in which infants and young children communicate. What adults believe to be indecipherable infant babble is actually a translatable language that every spirit can speak. The language can easily be understood if you have the indwelling Holy Spirit and you listen through the heart. As teenagers and adults, a person must receive the indwelling Holy Spirit of God in order to understandably communicate with God and others in the language of the spirit. As you pray in the spirit, keep track of the timing of the prayer and pray until you have nothing further to say in the moment. Second, take pen and paper or a notebook, surrender control to God, listen to God's response through your heart, and carefully write it down. Listen for at least the same amount of time as it took you to complete the prayer. If you prayed for 15 minutes, listen carefully to God's response through your heart for 15 minutes. If you prayed for one hour, then listen for one hour. Write down his response in detail, and ask his assistance in implementing his guidance and suggestions faithfully and in humility. God's love never fails.
