When you have completed the simple process of cleansing your body and soul of all its stored anger (see Stealing Anger, Part 1), you can then proceed to eliminate all the triggers that cause you to become angry. If someone knows that they have the power to trigger in you an emotional response, such as anger, they are likely to use that trigger whenever it is convenient for them to do so. The timing is likely to be very convenient for them, but very inconvenient for you. Thus, when you know that a trigger exists, the first and most important step is to eliminate it. You need to become free of every type of trigger in order to maintain strong emotional control.
First, identify each trigger in as much detail as possible and give it a number for purposes of identification (for example, Trigger 1). Then speak to each trigger as if it were a spirit, and command it to stop triggering your anger. Say to the trigger, "Trigger 1, I command you to instantly stop triggering my anger, stop causing me to become angry or frustrated, and stop stealing my peace." Do this in the language of the spirit, and continue to speak to the trigger in the language of the spirit until your spirit has nothing further to say to it. Repeat the process with Trigger 2 and with every other trigger you have identified. When you have eliminated every trigger you can think of, ask any lingering feelings of anger to exit your body through the spiritual pathway identified in Stealing Anger, Part 1.
