PATENTS AND COPYRIGHTS

Patents and copyrights are supposed to protect our intellectual property interests and ensure that the things we create for physical use and enjoyment are protected from plagiarism. It may seem odd that I would choose Christmas Day to write a Blog on patents and copyrights, however, the Holy Spirit Of God compels me to write it because Christmas Day is one of the most profitable days for patent thieves and copyright infringers.

They know that the vast majority of computers and computer systems remain unattended on Christmas Day, and therefore, they can expect a bounty. I expect that they are planning the same for this Christmas Day. If you are in charge of computer systems, you would be well advised to shut down every system that will not be in use on Christmas Day. Plan to turn it on again only when absolutely needed. The Lord God Almighty is a God of caution.
