LESS THAN A DOLLAR A DAY

When you decide whether or not you will run for public office or take a position as the CEO or President of a corporation, often the most significant factor is the salary being offered. Everyone wants to ensure that they will have sufficient cash to fund their and their family's desired lifestyle. Only a renegade few would take a position at a salary of less that U.S. $1 a day. These few are among those who already are millionaires and billionaires. Either they own the company's stock, or the salary they would receive as a public servant would be of no significance to them.

When someone receives a call from God, accepts the call, and is appointed to fulfill a mission, there is so salary negotiation or discussion. They rely only on God's promises of long term fulfillment, and long term benefits. The benefits they receive in the short term are often only spiritual. The benefits they convey in the short term are often also only spiritual.

Today, we have arrived at a point in time at which the initial benefit--receiving the indwelling Holy Spirit and being raptured into God's kingdom.--may be spiritual, but long term, there is a cascade of ongoing physical benefits. They include, or will include, physical health, life eternal, financial prosperity, healed relationships, peace, joy, and love. If these gifts of the kingdom are worth anything to you, then God's present-day messengers should not have to live on less than one dollar a day, as many of them do, and especially not if they live in the United States of America.
