GOLFING

When you hit the ball on a golf course, your principal goal is to get the ball into the hole. No one ever aims to send the ball to a location other than the hole. Yet, in God’s millennial kingdom, there are individuals who are setting goals that they know stop far short of God’s perfection. Their goals do not treat others as they themselves would want to be treated, nor do their goals acknowledge the wisdom of the indwelling Holy Spirit Of God.

Their goals do not seek first the best interests of God’s kingdom, nor the best interests of those in God’s kingdom. They perpetuate the same selfish goals, and self-centered reasoning. It is this methodology that has brought the world to its current condition. If you genuinely desire to see the promises of God’s kingdom manifest, you have an obligation to begin to act in accordance with God’s perfection. You have an obligation to aim high. You have an obligation to send the ball to the hole, every time.
