BOUNCING BALLS

Last night, I stopped in briefly at a pharmacy to warm up and to charge my phone. I was as sleep deprived as I have ever been, not having had any steady income for more than two years, and therefore no means of paying rent/mortage, purchasing meals and clothing, paying basic expenses, or even tithing. When you have nothing to tithe, you have your time, and most individuals would say that it should be devoted 100% to job searching.

But when Satan has decreed that anyone who hires you for any reason whatsoever should either be killed, tortured, tormented, or threatened, and the saints of God oblige, Satan wins. When three hundred individuals seek desperately to donate to Rebekah Isaac Incorporated, the saints of God watch every donation being blocked electronically, and they do nothing about it, Satan wins.

When you have been sleep deprived for two years, or more, fell asleep while standing charging your phone, fell down and hit your head so hard against a brick wall that the sound reverberated throughout the pharmacy as you felt your head slam against the wall and bounce back, then you stood and walked away, God wins. Ultimately, God always wins.
