BLENDING IN

Thoughts of how we fit into society as a whole plague virtually everyone. We want to ensure that we don't stand out from the crowd, that we fit in. However, when you seek to right the wrongs being committed in a society, or to pursue just causes, you must be willing to stand out from the crowd, to be noticed, and perhaps also to be ostracized. If you seek to be likeable, and you are willing to compromise on every issue of significance, you will achieve a high degree of acceptance locally, as well as globally or internationally. The people of God must make a decision today on whether or not they will seek fame and likeability, or pursue the purposes of God. If you wish to pursue God's purposes, there are two things you will need to do.

First, you will need to commit to going wherever the Lord God Almighty commands you to go, and to doing whatever he commands you to do, at whatever time of day he commands you to do it. The Lord God Almighty will never compromise your safety, or the safety of your family members, and you need to believe in his protection. Second, you will need to decide that if you are the last person standing in the kingdom of God, you will never leave nor forsake his wisdom, or the wisdom of the indwelling Holy Spirit Of God. You must become a lone ranger when it comes to your commitment to God, even as you travel along with others on your journey to eternity.
