Waking up from a deep sleep is not what one would consider being fully conscious. Full consciousness requires additional time and space. Full consciousness requires a desire to be fully conscious, and the implementation of procedures that guarantee full consciousness. In the context of spirituality, there is no morning-coffee equivalent. Thus, maintaining full consciousness requires significant, sustained effort. One must lock into a new pattern of behavior and a new way of doing things. One must be renewed in body, in mind, in spirit, and in attitude.
