When you are in a race, it is helpful to hear the words "Ready, Set, Go." These words indicate that the race has begun, you know that everyone who is in the race has the same starting time, and you also know that you need to keep in running mode if you intend to finish the race ahead of everyone else. The Lord God Almighty wants you to know that the race to the finish line has begun. It is a unique race in which everyone who is in urgent and deliberate running mode can and does finish first. And everyone who finishes first will have a unique role that is in many ways connected to God's millennial kingdom. He also wants you to know that when the seventh trumpet sounds in a matter of weeks, you will have his eternal protection, whether or not you have been raptured. God Almighty reigns.

Sailing a boat is not an easy endeavor. It requires skill and dexterity. It also requires an ability to determine the direction of the wind. When you know in what direction the wind is blowing, you are better able to direct the boat for the smoothest possible sail. Working with the Holy Spirit of God requires a similar amount of sensitivity and dexterity. It requires that you listen carefully to the still, small voice in your solar plexus. The Holy Spirit never shouts. If you are communicating with a god who shouts at you, or is impatient or insulting, you are not communicating with the Holy Spirit of God.
Sailing also requires that you have a compass to determine your precise location, and to ensure that you are traveling in the right direction. Without a compass, you may intend to travel north, yet be headed south. Similarly, the Bible needs to become our compass. We may never know or understand how off course we have become in our relationship to God unless we begin to regularly read and analyze the Bible, particularly the New Testament. It should become our daily compass as we navigate our relationship with God and with the indwelling Holy Spirit of God. Finally, sailing requires that you actually set sail. If you sit in the boat in the dock, that experience cannot be compared to actually setting sail and navigating the waters. Only in doing so do you actually learn the complexities of sailing. Similarly, if you never explore the contours of your relationship with God, you may never know or understand the depth and breadth of the power of his Holy Spirit that is in you. Nor will you understand the fullness of his deity. Speak to God now and ask him to show you the depths of his love. When the time comes for you to join a new entity, there always is an onboarding process that must be completed beyond the initial decision or invitation to join. This onboarding process is often almost as important as the initial decision or invitation. For the kingdom of God, there also is an onboarding process beyond the initial decision to accept God's indwelling Holy Spirit. You must become acclimated to the workings of the Holy Spirit, his preferred methods of communicating with you, as well as his ultimate goal for your relationship with him. You also must know that he speaks only truth, and acts only from the perspective of what is in your best interest.
