BEING KNOWN

When you write a letter, it usually has a signature attached to it so that the recipient knows from whom it was sent. If you do not wish to be identified, you can leave the signature line blank so that the letter becomes an anonymous communication. When you call someone on the telephone, it is customary to state your name so that the person on the other end of the line knows to whom they are speaking. When you speak to God, you must speak from your heart, in the language of the Spirit, otherwise it becomes an anonymous communication. God knows you by your heart, by the emotions that emanate from your heart, and by the sounds that flow from your heart. When your heart is at the center of each communication with God, only then can you be known by God.
